The Soccer World Cup here in SA was a great success and is testimony to the hard work and commitment of all our people, especially those in the security sector. It has united our nation and continent, and showed the world what a beautiful country we have.

My Dutch-born wife and I watched most of the World Cup. The real winner was South Africa which showed us and the world how to host with distinction a world event. Congratulations to all who made the World Cup possible.
We would have hoped for an Oranje victory, but Spain proved itself the victor on Sunday (sadly).
